Matt is delighted to have receievd a grant form the Arts Council in order raise the profile of Theatre in the Quarter in Cheshire and the North West. He is meanwhile composing music for an original production called 'Unsinkable' based on the story of the Titanic to be performed on behalf of Stagecoach Theatre Arts UK. His music for 'Rime fo the Ancient Mariner'is currently touring New Zealand and the South Pacific. More news

Matt Baker is a professional Composer, Musical Director and performer. Matt has a very varied, and hugely successful career ranging from composing sumptuous harmonies for large choirs or theatres, motivating large groups of people of all ages and abilities into singing and performing, inspiring young people from many backgrounds and corners of the world to enjoy music and drama, or even performing himself, in a variety of guises.
Recent Reviews
In 2008 the Chester Mystery Plays again received high acclaim. Matt has also recently finished composing for the sell-out North West Theatre in the Quarter tour of Silent Night, which has been equally well received. More exciting Theatre in the Quarter productions are in the pipeline.
